@UKairsoft94
if you can tig weld you could use some small aluminum rods and weld one together
only thing you would have to do is find out where you can mount it on, make mounts and then build your own costum rollcage sot that they fit onto your mounts
Hey, can somebody help me? I’ve been looking for a roll cage for my savage flux and was wondering if I should get a alloy,aluminum,brass, or nylon? Also where could i find them and which one is the cheapest?
@revotmaxx8 hell no, if its alloy or brass, it wont weight it down at ALL!!!!!! i run a huge alloy rollcage on my losi mini rock crawler and its super strong, and wont bend AT all, and it only weighs bout 2/3 lbs!!
@johnwo1
PVC will break to easily.
Use solid nylon rod. Maybe 10mm of 3/8 inch diameter. Make a simple cage with two main bars front to back. Use a hot air gun to bend it to shape. And carefully drill and ***** into two or three cross bars. File a ‘U’ in the end of the crossbars to fit the main rails. You’ll could make up some metal (ally) attatchments to fix it to the chassis, The nylon is light, but very strong when it’s all connected up, And also flexes a little to absorb shocks.
i dont like their cages, i bought one for my tmaxx, when i got it, it didnt fit at all, then i ordered another one for a revo and it was the exact same thing as the “maxx” cage but it didnt fit either one, i still have one or both somewhere, im going to use them on a custom chassis some day
Would PVC pipes connected be durable for a 1/10 electric buggy or some thing els it goes fast but its light so i don’t wont something weighting it down for jumps.

Here’s a thought.
Check out a guy called MA1N5T on here. He makes 12mm nylon cages down in Oz.
