  2. Mariel says:

@djmedic2008 and the axial 55t motor can work with the 7.2 baterry?

sorry about all this question but i really need to know to do things right.:)

  3. Latashia says:

@rabfs no – you will melt the esc

  4. Thalia says:

does the axial esc with the axial 55t motor work with an 11.1volt battery?

  5. Darrell says:

okay medic i made a great discovery i mounted my stock savage shocks on my scx 10 honcho in a droop set up (no springs) and they work awsome they give in so much travel its un real i can climb almost anything and they allow the scx 10 to really twist to the maxx …..try it out guys

@twistedsteelDK This is their site ,teamtekin com/fx

Planning my build at the moment and like your battery choice. Looking at the MaxAmps site there are so many choices. What run time do you achive with your setup? Is it worth considering a smaller, say 860mah that will be much lighter to reduce CG? (eg an AX10 battery and possibly adding to the front axial) Thanks for your help.

  8. Lynne says:

@PontiacGT201 I have just brought this setup and the capacitor is supplied with the kit.

  9. Noriko says:

@somewhathigh Hello my friend, its completely personal choice of course :) If you have not been having problems with the speed of the rig, then no worries at all. Some folks like a bit more wheel speed (for example in my TTC videos you need some extra “umph”) but 55 is also a great motor. I use a mix of servos – one of them being Traxxas 2075 waterproof – but also I use a Hitec 645MG, and waterproof it myself. Thanks for the support and the comment man! Good to know peeps are watching :)

  10. Tomoko says:

alot of people have been telling me to use a 35t motor, but I bought a Novak 55t paired with a rooster crawler ESC with linelocs both ways. so far I’ve been able to drop it into the deepest pit I could find and with a little tweaking on the trim I have no problems pulling out of anything or climbing hills. The only problem im having now is steering with bpth my honcho and my scorpion. Any good suggestions for a high torque servo to improve? Love the videos and following you on RC Tech forums.

  11. Ron says:

What type of capacitor is that? is it needed. im gettingthe same esc and motor you used here.

  12. Kieth says:

can i install that into a rtr honcho and whats it uased for

  13. Deangelo says:

do you know where i could get a parallel or y harness for this truck that has standard connectors on it so I can hook up my winch

  14. Leann says:

how much did u pay for your soldering iron??…thx

  15. Candyce says:

how much is the esc and the motor

  16. Dennise says:

great video your run through on the electronics really helped me out I am new to the electric rc stuff always been a nitro guy but scalers are the way to go now.

  17. Detra says:

    dude.
    what is the motor RPM?

  18. Rema says:

@dav1dh0ff Battery Eliminator Circuits are small devices that eliminate the need for a receiver and servo battery pack. They draw higher voltage from the motor batteries and drop it to a voltage level that is suitable for your receiver and servos. This is required in applications which draw high power for multiple servos or use more than 3S motor packs, as most ESCs with linear BECs are not designed for these applications.

  19. Carie says:

i thought the bec just meant you don’t need a separate battery pack for the receiver.

  20. Ofelia says:

another question medic. will the honcho body fit my ax 10 scorpion rtr chassis?

  21. Tajuana says:

nice vid medic this unit is going to rock. could you give me a link for the tekin fxr system pls.

  22. Lynell says:

You know, watching your build vids Medic, it makes me want to go out any buy another crawler kit! Must try and persuade my wife to agree LOL!

  23. Felipa says:

Hey DJ you should try corrosion-X for your waterproofing it works great . it;s easy to use too. just dunk your esc in and let it dry. check it out here on you tube.

  24. Kenia says:

Part 5 is now available as a video response below

  25. Shawn says:

nice vid, good explanation… I also use a fx-r esc on one of my rig and I love it
