It’d really help if you said what type of power it uses, but for the sake of clarity I’ll give you a few ideas…
If it’s electric, and the speed controller is sufficiently highly rated, you can increase the voltage of the battery you’re using – that will result in higher RPM at the motor and therefore you’ll go quicker. Alternatively you can look at putting a brushless motor / esc system in there which will dramatically increase the performance.
Equally, if it’s electric or nitro/petrol changing the gear ratio can help. You can put a larger pinion on the motor/engine to give a higher top speed however, this will slow down your acceleration so it’s a trade-off.
If it’s nitro, you could use a higher nitro content in the fuel and then adjust the fuel/air mix (lean it out slightly) to make the engine run faster, however this needs to be done with EXTREME care as if the engine is run too lean it will overheat and be ruined. Or you can put a more powerful engine in it.
Lastly you can reduce the weight of the vehicle by a number of means giving it a higher power to weight ratio, which will make it accelerate faster but not increase it’s top speed.
