    Here are a few companies I like and own.

    Traxxas R/C
    Team Losi
    Team Associated

    They are all reasonably priced and great quality machines. Research the web sites and go to EBAY for the best prices. My recommendation: Traxxas Rustler VXL, great ready to run kit or the version XL-5 a bit slower but “same platform”.
