Homemade rc truck?

I am building a rc truck from scratch and i was wondering if i should make it have shocks. I know It will be alot harder but do you think it will be worth it? Any other tips are helpful

    Yes you want shocks ,but only if you will be doing jumps ect. It will fall apart without suspension.

    yes you should have shocks it makes it faster
