No, you’re supposed to boil them for a while, then you have to have real icy cool water in a bucket; you dive the tire and the glue should start to snap off and separate from the rim. I did it with JConcept Calibers and two other guys also and it worked for all of us.
my psp umd door is full with glue and i’m trying to find a solotiun to get it off is this a good idea to get if off or will the umd door just melt? plz response:)

@OffenburgerJungs as long as you have water in there, temperature will be clamped to 100 celsius, which is safe for most plastics.

soak your wheels in acetone over nite. the glue melts away and doesnt hurt the plastic. i have been doing it for years. boiling does not work.

Don’t do this if you have spraypainted rims. it stains the pot. did it for 10 and still stained
