I have a traxxas T-Maxx 2.5, and it starts and shifts fine, but i run it for around 4 minutes and it will shut off if i let go of the gas. I let it warm up for a minute before i start driving it too. Whats wrong and what can i do to fix it?

It sounds like you have the throttle set a bit too closed. Adjust your idle speed ***** with the motor on and turn the ***** till you hear it rev up a bit. If your throttle is too closed the engine can die sometimes. Also make sure your fuel setting is correct on your low speed needle. Last, make sure you have the right glow plug for the weather in your area. The way to know if your low speed needle is set right, you can try the pinch test. Turn your engine on and adjust the needle a quarter turn at a time. With the engine still on, pinch your fuel line and right before the engine turns off, it should rev up just a bit. Thats how you know its set right.
