    its pretty awsome

Very nice! Now if that we me, I’d just narrow up the chassis opposed to streching the body, but that’s just because my modeling skills aren’t as sharp. 😉

O yah you have a logo spot on the car some where because if it was not for you these would not even exist…I can use your user name or you can make one up..You decide!

Ok you can sit down now…Tonight the first 1/18 scale rally truck was born with a animatronic driver. I used losi micro rally brush-less for the chassis. In the making now is a 1/18 scale subaru it will be the most realistic rc rally car to date with a fully functional animatronic driver.I decided to build these custom rally cars to film and then put on the auction block ..They will wear the name TeamTorc rally…Stay tuned for the next video..

Here is what I plan to do..Im going to take all the parts off the dicast body and vacuform only the body..Then re install all the glass interior everything..Then add a animatronic driver..When you turn right the driver will follow and the head will also..just like in my 5th scale…When im done you wont even be able to tell its an rc car…. Ok now that you know this can exist what would someone buy such a detailed rc car for…

ya this micro’s chassis n driveshaft have been extended. I really want to things to work for you, you vacuform the whole interior as a separate lexan piece too right? Rally is best body style to start with….
gotta love the higher frame rate of the new black, i have 5 other gopros but no black, but my computer is already hating me for all the video footage i edit, lol. so new computer first… keep in touch cuz I’d love the second one you make, lol…

One more thing about 1/18 scale..I use 1/18 in my stop motions and if you watch them something stands out…The 3 in figures fit like a glove so you can have drivers and passengers in your rc cars hehehe

  8. RobotKitchen says:

Ok check this out..You can cut the frame on the touring car and add or take away from the drive shaft..Its going to be light weight so anything is possible…Im going to buy this model and then buy a nice rally car and build these things..I want to film these in action using this new go pro at 240 fps it would look amazing..And you would have a rc car that nobody else has ..Im glad we had the talk Now im sure i want to do this project..

sorry for the delay, ya that may work, would be nice to find a more “mainstream” vehicle. only issue with the models are there isnt going to be one wheelbase that will be universal for all bodies. be cool if there was an adjustable chassis out there… are you going to order one of those cars n try it out? if it is a match i’ll order one for sure 😉
